Groups belong to places
A music night in the park, a farmers market, a stadium — each has its own conversation, pinned to the ground it happens on.
On iPhone · in private testing
Ambit is on iPhone
Chat with the people who are actually here.
Ambit isn't on the App Store yet. It's being tested on a small number of phones first.
Public groups, in person
Walk in and join the conversation around you. When you leave, you drop out of it half an hour later — so the people in a public group are the people actually there.
Private groups for friends
Make one at a spot and share its code, or approve people who ask. Members chat from anywhere, and messages from afar show as remote. Only members can see what's said.
